- Drink at least 2 L of filtered water in the 3 days leading up to your series of treatments. This will hydrate the entire body including the bowels, making it much easier to release both toxins and debris. A squeeze of organic lemon in your water will aid the liver in detoxification. (reduce water intake a few hours prior to your treatment time in order to avoid having a full bladder during your session)
- Give your digestive tract by choosing foods that are easy to digest and eliminating wheat, sugar, dairy and other heavy or greasy foods. Juicing fresh vegetables and fruits can also be a desirable option in the days leading up to your appointment.
- RELAX and Get Connected! In the modern day pace which many of us choose to live our lives, it can be easy to forget to appreciate all that our bodies are doing for us in every moment. I challenge you to create some time each day to have gratitude for your body: Start by tuning in to your digestive system- gently massage your abdomen or do some belly breathing to increase the circulation and energy flow . Light exercise such as yoga or nature walks can also be helpful as they improve circulation. Begin to build a relationship with your body and your digestion.
- Lastly, do your best to plan your day so that you are able to arrive at your appointments on time and in a calm or neutral state vs a stressed state. Feeling relaxed during your treatments will allow you to get your best results possible.
